The Israeli occupation forces are conducting fresh air raids on the Gaza Strip in continuation of the aggression that has been taking place for days.
The Israeli occupation forces launched Friday a series of air raids all over the Gaza Strip, an Al Mayadeen correspondent reported just after midnight.
The network’s correspondent to the Gaza Strip reported that the Israeli occupation conducted an air raid in the Nuseirat camp near the Strip’s sole power plant.
The air raid left at least one dead and numerous others wounded near the power plant.
The reporter also said ambulances rushed to the site in a bid to tend to the wounded after the air raid was concluded.
At least one martyred was confirmed to have arrived at the Hospital of the Al-Aqsa Martyrs in Central Gaza in the wake of the shelling of the refugee camp.
The Israeli air force targeted a site for the Palestinian resistance West of Deir Al-Balah in central Gaza. Meanwhile, agricultural land was shelled south of Gaza City.
The air raid was accompanied by a series of airstrikes West of Khan Yunis, as well as an airstrike West of Rafah.
The Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip, ongoing for nearly three days straight, has so far claimed the lives of 30 people, including six children and three women, and wounded 93 people, including 32 children and 17 women, the Palestinian Ministry of Health reported.
The Palestinian Resistance responded to the crimes of the Israeli occupation by launching barrages of rockets toward the occupied Palestinian territories, and it continues to do so, said Thursday Abu Hamza, the spokesperson for the Palestinian Islamic Jihad movement’s military wing, Al-Quds Brigade.
“By assassinating our senior officials and freedom fighters will only bolster our will to fight against the enemy,” Abu Hamza underlined during a televised speech.
“The resistance exceeded all of the Zionists’ expectations by the nature of its response,” Abu Hamza stressed.
Resistance capable of harming enemy
The Palestinian resistance factions’ joint operations room said it would not back down, and the assassinations will only make it stronger as its revenge continues.
“We say to the cowardly enemy that by heading towards the policy of bombing safe homes, that it is making a miscalculation,” the resistance factions said in a statement.
The joint room of the Palestinian resistance factions also made it clear that the resistance was capable of inflicting severe damage upon the enemy.
An Al Mayadeen correspondent reported on Thursday dawn that three Palestinians were martyred in an Israeli airstrike that targeted a residential building in Hamad City, northwest of Khan Yunis, the Gaza Strip.
Al-Quds Brigades announced the martyrdom of Ali Hassan Ghali, a member of the group’s military council and the head of the brigades’ missile unit, saying he was martyred in an Israeli assassination exacted at Wednesday dawn alongside several other PIJ fighters in the north of Khan Yunis.
Ghali was the fourth senior PIJ official to get assassinated in 48 hours. The Israeli occupation launched at Tuesday dawn heinous aggression against the Gaza Strip, targeting civilian homes and several locations, and murdering 30 Palestinians thus far, including women and children.
The Israeli occupation forces said the Israeli Air Force’s air raids on Gaza have killed Jihad Ghannam, the chief of the southern command of the PIJ’s armed wing, the Al-Quds Brigades, and his wife.
The Israeli occupation’s air raids also targeted Islamic Jihad spokesperson Tarek Ezzedine’s house. The PIJ official was martyred.
Another martyr was the commander of the northern region of the Islamic Jihad, Commander Khalil Al-Bahtimi.
The bombing of a residential building came despite the Palestinian Islamic Jihad movement warning the Israeli occupation that its policy of bombing civilian homes would be met with the relentless shelling of “Tel Aviv” and the occupied Palestinian territories.
The PIJ’s warning came after the Israeli occupation forces conducted an air raid on a home in Beit Lahia and another in Beit Hanoun was leveled to the ground by the airstrike.
