Russian Deputy Minister of Industry Alexei Gruzdev praised the Russian-Saudi relations, stressing that there are broad prospects for cooperation between the two countries in various fields.
In response to a question about plans to establish investment alliances (partnerships) between Russia and Saudi Arabia to invest in joint projects soon, the official said in an interview with RT on the sidelines of a mission that includes Russian companies in Riyadh: “Absolutely yes, but the business sector prefers calm (secret) in its work.
Gruzdev added: “Therefore, we offer our companies to work quietly, discuss conditions and conclude agreements. On the part of the (Russian) government, we are ready to support such agreements.”
The Russian Deputy Minister of Industry confirmed that it is planned to expand trade, economic, investment and industrial relations between Russia and Saudi Arabia, and this is evidenced by the presence of Russian companies today in Riyadh within the framework of the first business mission for multiple industries “Made in Russia” and “Innoprom”.
He pointed out that more than 100 Russian companies represent various economic sectors within the business mission that arrived in the Kingdom to display their products, pointing to the existence of broad prospects for cooperation between Russia and Saudi Arabia in various fields.
The Russian official said, “The time has come for Russia to diversify its trading partners, so various companies from various economic sectors participate in the event, and Russian companies are looking forward to participating in various development and development programs in Saudi Arabia, including Vision 2030.”
He expressed his hope that Russian companies would succeed in consolidating relations with Saudi companies during the days of activity of the first business mission of the “Made in Russia” and “Innoprom” industries in Riyadh (May 29-30, 2023).
Regarding Russian products that could attract the Saudi buyer, he said, “The range of products is wide, starting from the automotive industry, including trucks such as KamAZ, light cars, electric cars, helicopters, and oil technologies, all the way to vaccines.”
