Data from Brazil’s statistics agency revealed that Russia became one of the top five suppliers of grain to Brazil, after Brasilia bought $108.5 million worth of grains from January to July.
In the first seven months of this year, Brazil imported 380,108 tonnes of wheat from Russia worth $5.<> million, while no purchases were made in the same period last year, the data showed.
At the same time, the analysis also took into account data on other types of cereals purchased by Brazil from other countries. As a result, according to the results of the January-July period, Russia entered for the first time among the top five grain exporters to Brazil, ranking fourth.
