Robert Telus, Poland’s Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development, announced on Polish television that the Council of Ministers issued a decree banning the import of grain from Ukraine after September 15, regardless of the European Commission’s decision.
“The adopted resolution has been sent to the European Commission for a decision. If you don’t make the decision, and we still have a few days until September 15, we will definitely put into effect our decree, which will ban the import of four types of grains into Poland until the EU settles Polish-Ukrainian economic relations.”
