Andrew Mitchell, the United Kingdom’s minister of state for development, says longer humanitarian pauses covering wider areas are needed in order to deliver aid to the Palestinians in the besieged Gaza Strip.
“We are discussing with the UN and other partners how best to achieve this,” Mitchell told lawmakers in the House of Commons.
