VILNIUS, April 10. /TASS/. Lithuania, which has completely abandoned the use of Russian energy resources, will never return to purchasing them from Russia, President of the Baltic country, Gitanas Nauseda, said at the international forum on energy security issues, which is held in Vilnius.

TOKYO: With the world transitioning to new energy sources, relations with Japan are being strengthened, as the research department of the Japan Organization for Metals and Energy Security conducted joint workshops with KAPSARC, an energy think tank in Saudi Arabia, last summer.

Ukrainian electricity imports have risen almost threefold, according to the Energy Ministry in Kiev, which also said the country has ceased almost all exports of electrical power following Russian strikes on infrastructure. 

RIYADH: Calls for completely abandoning oil and fully relying on renewable energy have been deemed “wrong” and “unrealistic” by Haitham Al-Ghais, the secretary-general of the Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries.
