The Ambassador of the Sultanate of Oman to Egypt, Abdullah bin Nasser Al-Rahbi, called on the Egyptians to invest in the Sultanate of Oman.
The Omani ambassador said, during a special statement to the Egyptian Middle East News Agency, that the Egyptian investor can invest in promising projects, which the Omani government identified as a priority in the “2040” plan, especially in the fields of mining, industry, food security, transportation, tourism and others.
He added that there are many promising opportunities in the two countries and investors on both sides can invest in them, including, for example, in Egypt, the development axis in the Suez Canal, the administrative capital, the tourism and contracting sectors, and others, which represents an attractive environment for Omani investments.
He said that the economic relations between the two countries witnessed a great boom, and this was reflected in the increase in the volume of trade exchange between the two countries to more than one billion dollars, indicating that the two countries seek to transform their well-established political relations into strategic economic relations that are in line with Oman Vision 2040 and Egypt Vision 2030. Especially since the two visions carry great ambitions for the future and seek to diversify sources of income and create more permanent sources of income.
He explained that Egyptian-Omani relations are, in fact, a model for what Arab-Arab and international relations should be, in terms of cooperation and maximizing common interests, and in terms of compatibility in visions and positions and continuous coordination between them, with regard to facing regional and global challenges.
