Lebanese Army Commander, General Joseph Aoun, offered condolences to the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Al Mayadeen Media Network, Ghassan Ben Jeddou, for the martyrdom of our colleagues Farah Omar and Rabih Al-Me’mari and Hussein Akil, who were killed as a result of deliberate direct Israeli targeting.
During a phone call, Aoun affirmed the army’s solidarity with Al Mayadeen and all journalists working in the field.
In response, Ben Jeddou thanked the Lebanese Army leadership for its stance and the field investigation it conducted. He noted that the investigation confirmed the accountability of the Israeli occupation for its crime.
Concurrently, a delegation from the Lebanese Army, led by the Director of Orientation, Brigadier General Hussein Ghaddar, and including several officers, visited the headquarters of Al Mayadeen Media Network in Beirut, offering condolences.
At the same time, delegations continue to make visits to Al Mayadeen to express their condolences for the loss of our beloved colleagues Farah, Rabih, and Hussein.
