Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin said that 70 percent of cross-border settlements between Russia and China are carried out in the two countries’ national currencies, the ruble and the yuan.
This came during talks between Mishustin and his Chinese counterpart, Premier Li Qiang, in Beijing on Wednesday.
“I am sure that this year we will not only fulfill the task set by our heads of state, which is to increase the volume of mutual trade to 200 billion dollars ahead of schedule, but we will also exceed this significant indicator,” Mishustin added.
